Three Towns, Built For Functionality

We designed and built three custom towns for Forge Labs, one of Minecraft's biggest channels. Each was laid out as a playable level, paths, sightlines and gameplay spaces planned before a single block was placed - and delivered ready to film.

A Good Looking Build Isn't a Playable One.

A town that looks great in a screenshot can fall apart on camera. Dead ends, cramped streets and empty corners break the flow of a video. At Forge Labs' scale, the set has to work the first time. The builds needed to look visually impressive, and allow for peak functionality.

What We Built

Riverside Village - A Riverside Town built specifically for a custom gamemode, Designed with functionality in mind and the vibe of an abandoned riverset town.
Medieval Town - A medieval village/town, Archiecture built to look straight from the 1800s, functional with an explorable 1000x1000 total map size.
Abandoned City - An Abandoned city build, fully explorable streets, buildings and gas stations. Built to replicate a zombie apocalypse city - 1000X1000 in size.

All three are delivered and queued for upcoming Forge Labs videos - Each done in under 3-5 Days.

Built To Be Played, Not Just Looked at.

Most builders design for the screenshot. Level design means planning for the player and the camera first, then making it beautiful. That's the difference between a town that looks good and one that makes a video work.
